Weber Q 100 Gas Grill Review | Campfire Cooking

When your average folks think of cooking out on the grill, the first brand name that comes into their mind is a Weber Grill.

Weber Grills

Weber is the biggest and most notable grill company in North America. The company offers gas grills, charcoal grills, gas and charcoal combo grills, outdoor grills, indoor grills, smokers, and a lot of other grilling accessories you won’t want to miss out on.

My oldest daughter and charming son-in-law enjoy camping. As an anniversary present, we bought them a portable Weber Q 100 gas grill and outdoor grill cover.

The Weber Q 100 gas grill has push-button ignition for easy reliable lighting, an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high-quality regulator, sturdy glass-reinforced nylon grill frame, cast aluminum lid and body, a large weather-resistant lid handle, a porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grate, and operates on a standard 14.1 or 16.4 ounce propane cylinders (sold separately). Includes Weber Q recipe booklet. Tubular stainless steel burner, 8,500 BTU-per-hour input, 189 sq. in. total cooking area.

I tagged along on the first camping trip of the season to Brattleboro North KOA in Vermont.

We set the grill up on the picnic table next to the camper, and we were able to grill quite a bit of food all at once. There were several families there, so the grandkids and their cousins all ate first.  As the Weber grill is very portable, another time we brought the grill over to my son-in-law’s parents’ site, and the Weber held a skewer of four kabobs easily.

My son-in-law was impressed how hot the grill got and cooked all of our food just right. The grill also came with several drip pans for easy clean up.

There’s also optional accessories such as a grill stand and larger propane tank so he can set it up on the deck when home.

Weber grills have an excellent reputation and are considered to be of the best quality in the industry.

It doesn’t matter if you’re grilling your favorite meats such as brats, burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken or steak or if you’re grilling vegetables, potatoes or kabobs; whether you’re camping, entertaining or having a quick weeknight dinner, you’ll be certain to find a Weber grill to fit your needs.

A new propane gas grill would make a magnificent gift idea for Father’s Day for dad, grandfather or son-in-law!
