Grilled Mustard Pork Chops are economical to serve to a BBQ crowd at any backyard picnic or tailgate.

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 37 minutes

Serves 2-4

Grilled Mustard Pork Chops

Pork Chops, Grill Rub, Mustard Rub, Grilling


  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 4 bone in pork chops, 1 inch thick


  1. Mix the dry mustard, celery seed, thyme, salt, pepper and cayenne together in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Rub each of the chops on both sides with the spice mixture.
  3. Allow the chops to set at room temperature about 25 minutes.
  4. Place the grill on high temperature.
  5. Sear the chops 4 minutes turning once during cooking.
  6. Lower the heat to medium temperature on the grill.
  7. Continue cooking the chops 8 minutes or until the juices run clear.
