Moomettes

A “little” About Me, so   you’ll know who I am….

Connecticut Blogger

Moomettes is a Mid-Life Baby-Boomer wife; mom of 2 grown daughters; and has 3 young grandchildren. She’s a native of New England, lives in an historic small town in Connecticut. She has a B.S. in Business and an A.S. in Paralegal Studies. Her interests include cooking, crafts, travel, vintage collectibles, books, shopping and of course, writing.

With a life-long interest in crafting and crocheting, Moomettes designs and creates unique handcrafted Fashion Accessories. Many of her designs are one-of-a-kind (OOAK) Crochet Messy Bun Hats, Beanies, Boot Cuffs, Scarves, Dishcloths and Wash Cloths along with Needlework, embroidery and craft supplies which she sells in her store on at Moomettes Magnificents.

Moomettes started blogging in 2007 as the author of Frugal New England Kitchen and Moomettes Magnificents, having grown to enjoy meeting new friends and readers from all over the globe.

She has enjoyed creating cooking and baking since she was a teenager and is the author of Frugal New England Kitchen. Moomettes has gathered handwritten recipes and clippings from her grandmother, mom, aunts, family, friends and relatives that have been passed down over the years. Here she tweaks and personalizes each recipe to make it her own.

You’ll also find advice focusing on Grandparents and Grandchildren, Family Stories, extreme coupons and frugal living, and helpful hints from the hearth of a Yankee New England Kitchen.
